Starting from 4th March 2024, UK traders will have the capability to submit CDS Export declarations for all routes, including inventory linked maritime locations, as part of the move to the new Customs Declaration Service (CDS).

In line with HMRC's timeline, all traders are required to transition to CDS by the 4th of June 2024. It is crucial to note that post this date, the current CHIEF system will no longer be operational for customs declarations.
